This pitless adapter is for 4 in. lead free submersible installation; connects water pipe to the side of the well casing below frost level and the 1 in. connects to the pipe coming up from your submersible pump; makes a 90 degree elbow through the side of the well casing to discharge the water line underground; top of the pitless half that connects to the pump; has a 1 in. NPT threading into it that does not go through; this allows you to screw a piece of pipe into it to lift the pitless adapter and the pump; up out of the receiver half to disconnect; use with True Value #s 123-323; 123-324; 123-325; 123-326; 123-327; 123-328 and 123-332.
