MIP SmartSense EFV and TS is an intricately-designed valve with two primary components gas flow-limiting plunger and thermal shutoff sensing ring. SmartSense detects and activates in the event of gas line rupture disconnection or fire. The plunger limits gas flow and the internal thermal ring expands to stop gas flow in temperatures ranging from 350-425 F.
