Diecast Black Finish; Deep Reach Window Sash Lock; Krestmark. Sliding window sash lock is constructed of diecast materials and comes in a corrosion-resistant; black-painted finish. The mounting holes are spaced evenly apart and measure 2-1/4 in. from center to center; with a 5/32 in. reach. This style of sash lock does not use a separate keeper; because the latch engages directly into the fixed rail of the stationary sash to lock the window. It is designed for use on vertical sliding windows manufactured by Krestmark.
